自由学園幼児生活団にて4歳よりピアノを始める。
東京都立芸術高等学校音楽科を経て、東京芸術大学音楽学部ピアノ科卒業。
皇居の桃華楽堂にて御前演奏。NHK洋楽オーディション合格。「FM新人デビューリサイタル」に出演。
ポーランド政府の全額給費を受給。ワルシャワのショパンアカデミーに留学。大学院修士課程を修了。その後パリ、ベルリオーズ音楽院研究科終了。続いて、パリ・スコラカントルム、故ロベール・カサドシュ夫人のクラスで最優秀のディプロマを取得。1998年、トルネオ国際音楽コンクールでディプロマ名誉表彰を受賞。留学中、リサイタルやジョイントコンサートなどに出演。ジョリヴェの弟子達による国際音楽祭（パリ）で、ジャン・ポール・オルシュタイン氏のピアノ作品の世界初演を行う。帰国後、ショパン練習曲Op.10、ドビュッシー映像第Ⅱ集などによるＣＤデビューアルバムを録音。1999年4の帰国リサイタルを皮切りに数々のリサイタルやジョイントリサイタルなどに出演。
2001年10月銀座王子ホール、2002年11月青山学院ガウチァーホール、12月カワイサロンコンサートIN青山、2003年3月銀座王子ホール、2004年6月すみだトリフォニーホール、2005年7月池の上教会にて演奏を行い、いずれも確実なテクニックにもとづいた様式感と豊かな詩情の表出で好評を博す。
これまで、柳川守、坪田昭三、成田ゑみ、千葉成子、リディア・コズベック、バルバラ・ヘッセ・ブコフスカ、（故）ギャビー・カサドシュ、パスカル・ロジェの各氏に師事。
日本演奏連盟会員。
2005年より、PTNAピアノコンペティション、及び、大阪国際音楽コンクール審査員。
東京純心女子大学にて2008年より3年間非常勤講師を勤めた。
2016年より、毎年8月に大賀ホールでのコンサートが恒例となっている。
PROFILE
He began studying the piano at the age of four at Jiyu Gakuen Kindergarten. After graduating from the Music Department of Tokyo Metropolitan Senior High School of Arts, he completed his studies at the Faculty of Music, Tokyo University of the Arts, majoring in piano.
He performed in a command performance at Tōka Gakudō of the Imperial Palace, passed the NHK Audition for Western Music, and appeared on the “FM New Artist Debut Recital.”
Awarded a full scholarship from the Polish government, he studied at the Chopin Academy of Music in Warsaw, where he completed a master’s degree. He subsequently pursued further studies in Paris, completing the postgraduate program at the Berlioz Conservatory, and later studied at the Schola Cantorum de Paris in the class of the late Madame Robert Casadesus, earning a Diploma with Highest Distinction.
In 1998, he received an Honorary Diploma at the Torneo International Music Competition.
During his studies abroad, he appeared in numerous recitals and joint concerts. At the International Music Festival by the Disciples of André Jolivet (Paris), he gave the world premiere of piano works by Jean-Paul Holstein. After returning to Japan, he recorded his CD debut album, featuring Chopin’s Études Op. 10 and Debussy’s Images, Book II. Beginning with his return recital in April 1999, he has since performed in many solo and joint recitals.
He has given acclaimed performances at major venues including Ginza Oji Hall (October 2001, March 2003), Aoyama Gakuin Gaucher Hall (November 2002), Kawai Salon Concert in Aoyama (December 2002), Sumida Triphony Hall (June 2004), and Ikenoue Church (July 2005). His performances have been widely praised for their stylistic integrity grounded in secure technique and rich poetic expression.
His principal teachers include Mamoru Yanagawa, Shozo Tsubota, Emi Narita, Nariko Chiba, Lidia Kozubek, Barbara Hesse-Bukowska, the late Gaby Casadesus, and Pascal Rogé.
He is a member of the Japan Federation of Musicians.
Since 2005, he has served as a jury member for the PTNA Piano Competition and the Osaka International Music Competition.
From 2008, he taught as a part-time lecturer at Tokyo Junshin Women’s University for three years.
Since 2016, he has presented an annual concert every August at Ōga Hall.
